The Pride Of London Cruise past AC Milan With A 2-0 Win

Chelsea FC made it two wins over AC Milan in less than a week after defeating the Rossoneri 2-0 at the San Siro on Tuesday.

Chelsea were dominant from start to finish as AC Milan had to play majority of the game one man down as former Chelsea man Fikayo Tomori got sent off in the 18th minute.

Italy midfielder Jorginho made no mistake to convert the resultant penalty, and Chelsea pressed home their advantage with a second goal not long after: Aubameyang scoring for the third game running after a sweet move orchestrated by Kovacic and Mount.

Chelsea maintained the pressure up in the second half, and created multiple chances but could not convert any to add to the lead.

The match at the other side between Salsburg and Dynamo Zagreb ended 1 all. Meaning that Chelsea are now at the top of the table with 7 points while Salsburg are in the second position with 7 points.

The win sees Chelsea climb to the top of the table with a point ahead of Salzburg.

Milan are placed third after suffering two consecutive defeats to the Blues, but have a fighting chance to making it to the next round for the first time since 2013-14 season.

BREAKING NEWS: Chelsea reached Agreement to sign Kai Havertz from Bayer Leverkusen

Chelsea have reportedly reached agreement to signing Kai Havertz from Bayer Leverkusen this summer transfer window, as coach Frank Lampard is keen on rebuilding his squad ahead of next season.

The London club have already added Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner to the team, and are still on the brink of signing Kai Havertz from Bayer Leverkusen this summer.

However, Chelsea are considering swooping for a goalkeeper as Frank Lampard appears not to be comfortable with the performances of current shot stopper Kepa Arizzabalaga who has conceded over 45goals this season.

And reports claims the Blues might have won the race to another signing this summer.

According to the Daily Mail, Chelsea has reached an agreement with Trapzonspor to sign goalkeeper Ugurcan Cakir, and reports suggests the Blues will pay around £30million for the 24-year old star.

Kepa may be the most expensive goalkeeper in Chelsea’s transfer history, but with his massive drop in form this season, Frank Lampard would have no other option but to replace the Spaniard this season.

Kai Havertz makes decision to join Chelsea

Don’t expect the Kai Havertz to Chelsea transfer saga to end anytime in the very near future at least.

We see report after report on the biggest transfer story of the summer so far, but as per reliable German publication Kicker, Bayer Leverkusen want Havertz to finish the season with them by competing in the rest of the Europa League in August.

The report, as translated by Transfermarkt, offers some very positive news for Chelsea fans though.

They claim that Havertz has made the decision to join Chelsea this summer, and this has been agreed for some time.

The price will not be an issue, with Roman Abramovich ‘willing and capable’ to sign the German international regardless.

This is welcome news for Blues fans who might be concerned of other clubs coming in for the 21-year old. Of course, nothing is done until it is officially announced by either club, so we have a way to go yet.

Hazard is Lazy: John Obi Mikel

Hazard is enduring a torrid season so far in spain

Obi Mikel, now playing in Turkey, spent 11 seasons at Chelsea, five of them alongside Hazard, but was far from complimentary of the Real Madrid forward's work ethic, while insisting Chelsea boss Frank Lampard was the hardest working.

Hazard's start to life in Spain has not gone to plan, with injuries hampering his progress. Former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has questioned the fitness work Hazard has put in earlier this month, with former team-mate Mikel the latest to question Hazard's methods.

"The laziest player I have played alongside is Eden Hazard," Mikel told beIN Sports in Turkey.
"Hazard has an incredible talent, maybe not as good as [Lionel] Messi, but he can do whatever he wants with the ball at his feet.

Real Madrid ready to move on from disappointing Formal Chelsea super star

Real Madrid are set to cut ties with a former Chelsea favourite after the Belgian star’s form has consistently dipped below the standards he set at his previous clubs.

Thibaut Courtois departed Stamford Bridge for the Bernabeu in 2018 on the back of several standout years in blue, and a superb string of performances at the 2018 World Cup – being awarded the tournament’s Golden Gloves for best goalkeeper in the process.

The 27-year-old was expected to assume the role of undisputed Real Madrid number one between the sticks for a decade after replacing former Los Blancos stopper Keylor Navas, but it has not been smooth sailing for the six-foot-six keeper to say the least.

A series of errors in his debut season at Real cast doubt over the long-term viability of Courtois in Madrid, but with Navas joining PSG in the summer, it was expected the Belgian would get another chance this season under returning manager Zinedine Zidane.

A resolute performance in Real’s Champions League victory over Galatasaray on Tuesday night reminded people of what Courtois can do, but a report from the Spanish media now claims that patience has run thin in Madrid and the Belgian’s time with Los Blancos could soon be coming to an end.

The report by El Desmarque (via Goal.com) states that Real Madrid “are running out of patience with out-of-form goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois and are targeting Athletic Bilbao’s Unai Simon as a replacement.”

The article continues: “…the overall feeling is that he has not been up to standard since joining from Chelsea last summer.”

Chelsea Steward sacked.

Chelsea have sacked a steward for branding midfielder Cesc Fabregas a "snake" after a video of the incident emerged on Friday.

The club have acted to fire the employee who spoke out to the blues midfielder as he walked past him following a match at Stamford Bridge earlier in the season.

Footage shows the 28-year-old walking inside the stadium wearing a Chelsea tracksuit and carrying a suitcase when he is called a "snake" and told "you're Arsenal" by the steward.

The same voice than asks "what happened to you?"

Fabregas will make another return to the Emirates Stadium as Chelsea prepares to face Arsenal on Sunday. The Spaniard made 303 appearances for the Gunners before his sale to Barcelona and eventual move to Chelsea, where has proven a great midfielder.
