The actress cum producer has starred in a number of television
programmes and home movies including ‘Moving Fingers’, ‘Hostages’,
‘Third Eye’, ‘Eziza’, ‘Evil Thing’, ’
30 Days’ and others.
From a former average girl who attended Santa Maria Primary School,
Enugu and Queen of the Holy Rosary in Nsukka before gaining admission to
the University of Calabar to study Education and later bagging a
Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre Arts, Ebele Okaro has grown to become one
of Nollywood’s most famous faces bagging the title -‘The Mama of
Nollywood’
Born in London to a mother who was into television production and a
father who was an Engineer and brought up in Enugu, she had her National
Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme at the Nigerian Television
Authority (NTA).
