Chelsea Fc have expressed delighting for the sighning of Nantes Defender Papy Djilobodji for a reported £4m.
The blues have conceded 9 goals in their opening
4 games in the Premier League and have responded by signing the centre-back on a four-year deal.
A statement on Nantes website said; "As with Jordon veretout, Djilobodji joins the premier league and the rank of the Champions. Nantes extend their congratulations and wish him well for the rest of his career."
Upon completing his move to Bridge, Djilobodji said: "I am very happy to sign for a big club like Chelsea and I want to do my best to help the club win tittles. I want to thank the club for giving this opportunity."
Papy Djilobodji; 26, joined Nantes from Moissy- Cramayel in 2009 and made 171 league appearances for the club in league 1 and 2 with 9 goals to his name.
The Senegal international could make his debut for chelsea against Everton on September 12 after the international break.
